Course Information

2018 Ladies Hairdressing Course Cape Town

Next Course Starting Date: February 2018

The Partners Hair Design Training Academy (PHDTA) offers a full-time ladies hairdressing course over a 12-month period. Learners complete all three academic levels required for a full Ladies Hairdressing NQF 2, 3 & 4 qualification by the end of the training year, empowering them to enter the job market far sooner than after the current three year course. Learners are required to complete a mandatory twenty month practical after which they are eligible to do their Services Seta Trade Test. We also offer a part-time course which is completed over three years. Learners benefit from the PHDTA course in that the programme works hand-in-hand with the Partners Hair Design salons to ensure that the practical hours, which are required from each learner, are completed under the guidance of a salon mentor. Learners will also be placed in a work placement program to ensure that they become gainfully employed after completion of the course. PHDTA is based in Kenilworth and is easily accessible to both students and visitors, and can accommodate up to four classes per year. Learners are treated to a warm and modern learning environment, as well as a fully functioning salon facility that is used for the assessment of their practical skills.
